Our History
Founded in 1948 Gales have been providing a legal service to the people of Bournemouth and the surrounding areas for over 75 years.
Throughout that time we have maintained our ethos of combining expert professional advice with a friendly and approachable service.
Initially based in Charminster the firm moved to Winton some years ago and we now have offices on Winton and Tuckton High Streets. We take pride in being an active part of our local community. We are members of the BH9 Business Community and actively take part in local events.
In 2018 we merged with Robert Wrynne Solicitors on Tuckton High Street. Incorporating Robert Wrynne Solicitors helped the business expand across Bournemouth and achieve a much larger footprint with a firm whose ethos and approach fitted perfectly in to the Gales family.
Over the years we have built up a large and loyal clientele. We are extremely proud of the fact that so many of our clients come back to us time and time again and some families have now been using our service for three generations. With so many long standing clients we know how important it is to provide not just professional expertise but also a friendly and approachable service.
Over the years we have expanded our areas of expertise to cover the most common legal problems we might each face from year to year. We appreciate how important it is to maintain consistency and to ensure, wherever possible that help can be provided from one place. Our broad range of legal expertise ensures that we can assist individuals, families and businesses in dealing with all their legal issues under one roof.
Over the last 30 years the legal world has changed almost beyond recognition. There is more legislation than at any time in history and new ways of working mean that we have to deal with almost constant change. Throughout that period Gales have worked to ensure that we continue to provide the same expert service in a friendly and approachable manner.
