Business as usual at Gales Solicitors

Matthew said, “We are very pleased to report that all of our staff are now back from Furlough. Most appointments are still being carried out remotely, via zoom or telephone although we are holding face to face appointments where necessary.

ourt hearings are mostly being conducted remotely too. This does mean, however, that we can effectively cover multiple court appearances during a day and often in multiple towns. There are many practical advantages as travel and waiting times at court are significantly reduced, thereby reducing hearings costs for our clients.

“Our Social Services department has seen a significant increase in care work whilst Family Law work is back up to normal levels and is as busy, as ever.

“Conveyancing is extremely busy, property prices are holding and in some cases prices are rising.  Because of concerns over COVID, a lot of exchanges and completions are happening simultaneously, which can be quite stressful for our clients.

“Wills & Probate work has remained busy throughout lockdown and continued so beyond. The impact of COVID has meant that many people have very sensibly reviewed their wills.

“We are delighted to be back up and running in our ‘new normal’, so soon after lockdown. We would urge anyone seeking advice to get in contact with our team. Tel. 01202 512227 mail@gales-solicitors.co.uk"
